Cafe Carlo is a popular and friendly neighborhood bistro in a casual dining atmosphere that continues to be considered among Winnipeg’s best restaurants since it was established in 1989.

Cafe Carlo's menu is best characterized as innovative and seasonally influenced California-Italian cuisine. The menu features an array of greatest hits from its pasta grill. There are a variety of  house made appetizers, soups, creative salads, pastas & desserts that feature bold full flavors. In addition to the favorites, up to ten daily specials keep the menu fresh and exciting.

The menu is complemented by a well considered, award winning wine list with upwards of eight wines available by the glass and a list of creative artisanal cocktails.

The service is friendly & attentive as provided by an experienced staff. The hip décor is nestled amidst an evolving art gallery which further enhances the dining experience, as it features local artists’ works for three month shows. The intimate size of the 50 seat dining room makes it well suited to small functions and receptions whereby the entire dining room can be reserved.
